Flash One
Like a lightning strike - Flash One by Rosenthal
The poetry of the sea and a love of music and dance are the sources of inspiration for New York avant-garde artist Dorothy Hafner, whose works can be found in museum collections worldwide.
Hafner first became involved with ceramics in 1973. Over the next 15 years, she created more than 12 dinnerware lines for companies such as Tiffany & Co. in New York City and Rosenthal in Germany. The "Flash" shape for Rosenthal was created in 1982, and it quickly became the cult object of the era and has a permanent place in the history of ceramics and in the history of design.
