Sanssouci Hoeroldt Arcadia

Dining like the "Old Fritz"

Sanssouci dinnerware dates back to 1745, when Frederick the Great had Sanssouci Palace, a small summer palace built in the Rococo style. A dinner service was designed for this palace, which still delights people today in its unchanged form. The filigree ornamentation of the relief and the graceful design reflect the lightness of this era.

The Sanssouci Hoeroldt Arcadia service by Rosenthal is decorated with miniatures by the porcelain and court painter Johann Gregorius Höroldt (1696-1775).
